Hurr Fashion Rental
Brainchild of brilliant CEO Victoria Prew, Hurr is a tech-first platform that hosts a community of thousands of renters and lenders building a smart and sustainable solution for fashion.
We were brought on board to consult on and redesign both the HURR app and website, starting with the company's most crucial point-of-sale: the product page.
We began by conducting a thorough analysis of the user's experience: combing through the details of the site to determine how well it conformed to the industry's best-practices. This was followed by a proposal of design. In close collaboration with Hurr's product team, we created and tested out prototypes of new designs, ensuring it was responsive: suited for all devices, and aligned with the brand's personality. Upon completion, a detailed handover was created for the development team.
The aim was to create an experience that would seamlessly accommodate the platform's unique offering to rent, buy as well as bid for fashion pieces - not an easy feat.
Product carousels were meticulously considered and opportunities for cross-selling was included. The brand's typography and colour palette also got a spring refresh!
*The live site's development & design project is ongoing.

We designed a user-friendly, intuitive website layout with large product images, clean minimal calenders, buttons, tags and typography. We changed the brand's colour palette to a mix of muted but playful hues and sophisticated neutrals.

We crafted designs for both the website and app - with a new type system that was clean and modern. We conducted a full user-experience analysis and gave the product page a complete overhaul - keeping best-practices for user experience and e-commerce platforms in mind.

We updated button sizes, spacing, order and hierarchy of information, language use and choice of which features should be on the page and which could be left as links to elsewhere on the site.

We offered a full developer hand over with user interface guidelines, colour palette variations, detailed spacing guides and rules for usage.
